Your exam will have 135 questions, 35 of those questions do not affect your score. Each exam has questions that count toward your score and questions that do not.
The exam items are written by members of the EMS community, including educators, providers and medical directors. The cognitive exam consists primarily of multiple-choice items. You will take the cognitive exam on a computer at an authorized Pearson VUE testing center.
